आज की कीट एसई एरिजोना और मेक्सिको से एक सुंदर और दुर्लभ प्रजाति है: Lerina सन्निहित (Erebidae: Arctiinae). कई दूसरे दिन उड़ान प्रजातियों की तरह यह शानदार ढंग से रंग और काफी संभावना aposematic है. आख़िरकार, मेजबान संयंत्र एक milkweed है और कमला तेजस्वी के रूप में बस है (नीचे).

As I mentioned above this moth also has an equally impressive caterpillar that feeds on Ascleapias linaria (pineneedle milkweed).
